Imperial's businesses rely heavily on people, and our experienced automotive, logistics and vehicle finance professionals provide us with a key differentiator in today's knowledge-based economy. During the year, we accelerated our investment in our human capital management capabilities facilitated through a number of initiatives ranging from leadership assessments to job profiling, and the identification of strategically critical positions. We are also rebuilding our human resources foundation to provide consistent people policies and practices across the group.
Together these initiatives will enable proactive strategic workforce planning and promote an engaged workforce and cohesive teams with the same vision for the future. For our people, these initiatives will support clear career paths and development plans for them to achieve their career aspirations within the group.
Talent management and promoting the diversity of our workforce continue to be key areas of focus. Strategic talent reviews for all Executive Forum members have been completed and in the coming year the talent management process will shift to encompass the next level of leadership, with an emphasis on accelerating the diversity of our senior roles. The organisational renewal is providing the opportunity to deepen the diversity of our workforce and develop a truly inclusive culture across the group.
